Hyundai has launched the Venue in India with prices starting at Rs 6.50 lakh.The Venue not only gets a mini Creta-like design, it also features an all-new 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine with a new 7-speed DCT gearbox, along with a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.4-litre diesel engine.It is available with the Manual and Automatic transmission.

The Venue gets a bumper-integrated headlamp assembly up front, an all-new cascading grille, 16-inch dual-tone alloys and an overall boxy design from the Carlino concept. It is the first made-in-India connected SUV and gets Hyundai’s Blue Link connected car software. Equipped with an e-SIM from Vodafone, Blue Link can be used to control various functions like remote start, climate control and location tracking, along with a host of other features.  The SUV also comes with an 8.0-inch touchscreen display that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and automatic climate control and a chunky streeing wheel. The top-spec variant of the Venue packs safety features such as six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), vehicle stability management, hill assist control, and brake assist system on the top-spec variant. Dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX, seatbelt reminder, rear parking sensors, and speed and crash sensing auto door lock/unlock are offered as standard.The Venue is a 5 seater SUV and has a length of 3995 mm, width of 1770 mm and a wheelbase of 2500 mm.Hyundai is offering the SUV in seven monotone colours and three dual-tone colour options.

 The Hyundai Venue is priced between Rs 6.50 lakh to Rs 11.11 lakh (ex-showroom India). Five variants on offer: ES, SX, SX(O), and SX+. Venue seems well prepared for a brawl with its rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, Tata Nexon and the Mahindra XUV300.
