Honda had launched the all-new CB300R in India at Rs 2.41 lakh (ex-showroom,India) on 8 feb 2019 . The bike will be sold in India via CKD route.

The CB300R will be sold in India through the 22 Wing World outlets which a sell the company’s premium bikes. While, the CB300R gets ‘neo sports café’ styled, it the only bike other than the CB1000R+ to sport the retro styling in India. The bike equipped with features like a LED headlight, a digital instrument cluster and dual-channel ABS that uses an IMU (Inertial measurement unit) to improve front-to-rear distribution of brake intervention.

Powering the bike is a 286cc, liquid-cooled, four-valve, single-cylinder DOHC motor that is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. This engine makes 30.4hp and 27.4Nm of torque. Handling suspension duties for the bike is a USD fork and a preload-adjustable monoshock. As for the brakes, the CB uses a four-piston caliper at the front and a single-piston unit at the rear. kerb weight of the bike is 147kg, The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 10 litres.
The bike is available in 2 colur schemes Matte Axis Gray Metallic and Candy Chromosphere Red. On the competition front, the CB300R goes up against the BMW G 310 R and the KTM DUKE 390 in its segment.
Honda had started taking advance bookings for the CB300R in the Indian market prior to its official launch, due to which the first batch of bike is completely sold out in the Indian market after just 3 days from its official launch . the CB300R can still be booked at Rs 5,000 but the delivery will happen only when second batch of the bikes, will arrive after three months in the market.
