Honda has revealed the 2019 CBR400R in Japan, thus marking
its debut for the international market. The motorcycle features a fully-faired design wich draws inspiration from the CBR500R and the CBR650R.

The CBR400R receives a engine displacement of 399cc, the parallel-twin liquid-cooled motor is rated to produce 46bhp at and 38Nm torq the motor comes mated to a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox assisted by a slipper clutch. It also receives an enhanced exhaust system that has been designed by Honda Racing Experience.

Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the back. Braking is done by disc brakes at both ends equipped with dual-channel ABS.
Internationally, the CBR400R is offered with the choice of three colours – Grand Prix Red, Mat Axis Grey Metallic and Pearl Glare White. Honda has no plans of bringing the CBR400R to India anytime soon.

Not anytime soon however this should take on the Ninja 400 and the Yamaha R3.
