Kawasaki India has announced the launch of all new 2019 Ninja ZX10R and the 2019 Ninja ZX10R KRT Edition. The new sportsbike is the 2020 model year variant.

It comes with updated engine, which is more powerful than the one seen on older Ninja ZX10R, it produces 3PS more and the peak power is now 203PS – 213PS with ram-air intake. The redline of the engine has been bumped up by 600rpm and the runs on a different engine map. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox .Other upgrades are finger follower valve actuation, cylinder head ready for High Lift Cam, and Kawasaki Quick Shifter-Dual Direction. Apart from that, the bike features the usual suspects like Kawasaki Traction Control, Kawasaki Launch Control Mode, Kawasaki Cornering Management Function, Electronic throttle valves, Kawasaki Engine Brake control, Kawasaki Intelligent ABS, and more. In addition, you get Ohlins electronic dampers, Brembo brakes, and aluminium swingarm, and an option for a single seat.

Expect the price of the 2020 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R to be between Rs 14.30 lakh to Rs 15 lakh ex-showroom . The deliveries will begin by mid-June 2019. The 2020 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R competes with the likes of other litre-class superbikes in India like the Yamaha YZF-R1, BMW S1000RR, Aprilia RSV4 RR, Suzuki GSX-R1000R, Ducati Panigale V4, MV Agusta F4, and the Honda CBR1000R Fireblade.
