The KTM RC125 has been spied testing in Pune near Bajaj’s Chakan plant.

The bike’s design is similar to the RC range which includes the RC200 and RC390 . So it gets a sharp full-fairing, At the front there is a twin-LED projector headlamp along with LED DRLs. While the fairing has the same white and orange colour scheme on the RC200, the RC125’s tank is orange and so is its tail section.

The RC125 borrows the same 124cc single-cylinder engine from its Naked sibling, the KTM Duke 125 This liquid-cooled, DOHC motor produces 14.3bhp of power and 12Nm of torque and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Braking on the RC125 is also likely to be the same as the 125 Duke with a 300mm front disc and 230mm rear disc along with a single-channel ABS and RLM (rear lift mitigation). Suspension is handled by inverted forks upfront and a monoshock at the rear.
When launched It will compete against the Yamaha YZF-R15 V3 in India. and price is expected to be around 1.30 Lakhs.
