Ladies and gentlemen, be ready to welcome India’s First Custom Helmet Art Exhibition. It’s a one-day exhibition only being held on March 24, 2019, from 12 pm – 9 pm at the Bombay Art Society. The exhibition is open to the public and completely free to attend, unlike other art exhibitions which showcase the skill of an artist on a piece of canvas or paper, these artists have chosen a helmet to showcase their talent. While doing so, they also expect to promote road safety in the country, trying to make our roads a safer place for the motorists.

This innovative project, uniting the motorcycling and art communities in India and across the globe is called ‘Helmets for India”. An advocate of riding safely on motorcycles, the founder of Helmets for India, Niels Peter jensen is one of the most successful mountain bikers in the world, a Sports athlete, TV Host, While filming for a TV show in India in 2018, Niels was appalled to see that most people riding scooters and motorcycles through the busiest traffic in the world don’t wear helmets. Witnessing a two-wheeler accident involving a small child marked him profoundly, he felt compelled to do something that would help bring about a change. After many discussions with locals and with his colleagues and friends in India and abroad, Niels launched “Helmets for India. Saferide for everyone, everywhere!
