Lamborghini has unveiled the facelift for the Huracán Evo named as the “Huracán Evo Spyder” it made its public debut at the 2019 Geneva motor show.

The Huracan Evo Spyder features the same 640hp, 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10, which helps the drop-top hit 100kph from a standstill in 3.1 seconds; 0.2 sec slower than its hard-top counterpart. Despite weighing 120kg more, the Spyder has the same 323kph top speed as the Huracan Evo. Most of that extra weight comes from the car’s soft-top mechanism, which uses an electrohydraulic set-up to lower it in 17 seconds, up to a speed of 50kph. Automatic pop-up rollover bars are placed behind the seats, while the rear window can be retracted electrically, whether the roof is up or down.

The Huracán Evo’s range features new chassis technologies, including rear-wheel steering and four-wheel torque vectoring, wich are also available on the Spyder. Lamborghini claims the car’s aerodynamic prowess, with more than five times the downforce and aero efficiency of the old Huracán, has also continued unchanged, while cabin airflow is said to be “minimised” to assure a “quiet cockpit environment”.

The Huracan Evo has arrived in India at Rs 3.73 crore (ex-showroom, India), However, there is no word from Lamborghini regarding an India launch for the Huracan Evo Spyder. if launched expect a bit premium pricing over the Huracan Evo.
