The highly anticipated Tata Harrier has been finally launched in India.
it’s been priced at ₹ 12.69 lakh for the base XE variant and the top-end XZ variant has been priced at ₹ 16.25 lakh, (ex-showroom, Mumbai) very
aggressively-priced by Tata

The harrier is based on the OMEGA Arc platrorm , wich is been sourced from Land Rover it also debuts Tata’s new IMPACT 2.0 design language that future Tata models based on the OMEGA will carry. On the inside, the Harrier gets premium upholstery and features an 8.8-inch floating infotainment screen which has a high-resolution display and supports smartphone connectivity along with being linked to nine JBL speakers and a JBL amplifier for sound output, even the base variant of the new Harrier will receive features like LED Daytime Running Lamps, Powered ORVMs and height adjustable driver’s seat.


powering the Harrier is Fiat-sourced 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine that Tata churns out 138 bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque and is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Tata Motors is also planning to add an automatic variant at a later date and will be sourcing the automatic gearbox from Hyundai, the Harrier also gets multi-drive modes which are coupled with a terrain response system.

Tata Motors had started accepting bookings for the Harrier on October 15, 2018 and it received a phenomenal response due to wich the wating periods have gone up to Three Months. Harrier takes on the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Mahindra XUV500, the Jeep Compass, Renault Captur and, the recentyl introduced Nissan Kicks.

The Harrier is available in Five different colours – Thermisto Gold, Telesto Grey, Calisto Copper, Ariel Silver and Orcus White.
