Following the goverment mandatories for fitment of CBS on models up to 125cc) and ABS (on models above 125cc) before the deadline of April 1, 2019 Aprilia and Vespa have launched their ABS and cbs equipped models.
The updated Aprilia SR150, Vespa 150 models gets a single-channel ABS and the Aprilia SR125, Vespa VXL 125 models received a CBS. The addition of ABS has resulted in an increase of price up to Rs10,000 on the 150cc models and an increase of price up to Rs 3,000 on the 125cc models
Other than the addition of the safety feature, the scooters remain cosmetically and mechanically unchanged. However, Aprilia has switched their tyre brand from Vee Rubber to MRF tyres
